General Description
:
The mandarin oriental is a luxury hotel located close to the hong/macau ferry terminal, macau international airport, shopping and amusement districts. This 435-room hotel features 4 restaurants, one 24-hour casino, a bar, state-of-the-art conference center facilities and 15, 000 square meter resort with fitness and spa facilities. The mandarin oriental is just steps from a variety of cultural attractions, including the macau imposing prix museum, the macau cultural centre and the wine museum. Each guestroom has been thoroughly designed to maximize the guests comfort and satisfaction. They are tastefully decorated with portuguese fabrics and teak furnishings. All rooms have an plenteous dressing table and an executive work area. The onsite restaurants cover a diverse variety of cuisines, so guests need not leave the hotel to experience variety in their dining. The hotel offers what they describe as "mediterasian" leisure facilities, which includes a temperature-controlled swimming pool amidst landscaped gardens and a waterfall (which cascades into the pool), as well as a gym, tennis and squash courts, and garden whirlpool. There is also an indoor sauna, steam room and whirlpool and the mandarin oriental spa. The mandarin oriental is convenient to superb dining, shopping and amusement venues. Renovation notice: please be informed that the oriental casino located within the hotel (2nd and 3rd floor) is currently closed for soft refurbishment. And starting september 1, 2008 until the end of the year, there will be renovation works carried out. Consequently, the hotel may experience some noise from 9 a.M. To 6 p.M., monday to saturday.
